Everything is made beautiful in its time

Ecclesiastes 3:11

🕚

“He has made everything beautiful in its time”

I love to unfold scripture using stories, and more so my own. God has definitely put me through a lot and He has taught me strength, patience and hope from all my experiences. However, for this article, I want us to focus on the scripture above first, and in the next article, I’ll give you my own story. I want to address something that we all face and go through in life. This month God has been reminding me about patience and the importance on waiting on God. He told me Sheilla, everything happens in its own time.

Definitions:

The scripture up above is so special and I want us to research it further. It says:

“He has made everything beautiful in its time”

‘He’ here is obviously God.

God has made everything beautiful in its time. God is the overseer of all and He has the full map of your life. He knows where your blessings lie and how you’ll get there. We always hear people saying, ‘trust the process’. This phrase is so true because the bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Don’t use your physical eyes

Do not go by what you see or what you hear about what you see. For example, someone can have cancer, and the doctor can say – based on his scientific calculations, you have 3 months to live. We get it, but God has the final say. God uses doctors, so we are not disputing their findings. However, in today’s age, people trust and believe in diseases more than God. They will acknowledge the symptoms, pain and its power to kill; yet forget the one who has power to kill both body and soul.

Matthew 10:28

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Let’s continue with the definitions 🙂

Beautiful: of a very high standard; excellent; pleasing to the sight or the mind.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time”

“He has made everything – to be of a very high standard; excellent and pleasing to the sight & the mind – in its time”

fulfillment…

Do you see what I did there? God is perfecting you, so that you and your request are excellent. Sometimes He’s working on your character. He knows if you get that job now, because of your character, you will lose it quickly. You can also look at it this way – He’s making you excellent. Anything that carries the spirit of excellence carries favor. If a team had to decide between you and 10 other people, because you carry excellence, they will be drawn to you; because God has made you beautiful in YOUR time. You came with boundary specifications and until it’s fulfillment, it’s best to wait.

So be patient so that what you’re waiting for is made beautiful in its time.
